Global Village Academy Fort Collins will be in its second year in the 2014-15 school year. We are opening a brand new building and are looking for Principal candidates who feel they can successfully meet or exceed the criteria below. 

This position will assist in all aspects of opening a new building, including but not limited to: development of budget; work with building contractors and GVCC; conduct parent meetings; recruit, interview, select, staff members; cultivate, implement, and support the mission, vision, and strategic feedback; coordinate and support the professional development and instructional growth of all teaching staff; oversee ordering of curriculum, furniture, equipment, and supplies. The Principal will work with the school start-up team to have the new facility ready to open by August of 2014.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: Colorado Principal's License. Previous experience opening a school or school building preferable.

EXPERIENCE: Over 5 years administration, 7 years of experience (including the 5 years) in public education within the school setting, including teaching.
